    Pros

    Really smart people in the domain registrar silo.

    Cons

    The emphasis on speedy growth led to a lot of really subpar hires at all levels. The worst result was intellectual beheading of the company that turned it into the soulless "content farm" zombie that everybody pounced on. Making eHow crappy was a calculated, foreseeably unwise, business decision.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Founders: never give up control of your company. The money-makers will drive your company into the ground.

    I applied through college or university. The process took a dayinterviewed at Demand Media.

    Interview Details

    I was called upon after being screened at the Career Fair @ UCI. The technical interview consisted of some rapid fire questions that were related to basic Web Development. I was tested on basics of CSS, Javascript,HTML and PHP. I was questioned on things like SQL injection, attacks on Web servers.
