Ideapreneurs drive market leading growth for HCL wherein we have grown 115% in our revenues from the time we have incorporated EFCS in 2005 along with 580% growth in our market cap.

In a growth-constrained, post-recession world where many traditional sources of advantage are becoming irrelevant, the best bet for nations, companies and individuals to succeed is the power of their ideas. HCL’s vibrant intrapreneurial culture is giving rise to institutional and grass-root programs that help in seeding ideas, nurturing creativity and harvesting innovation – Value Portal, Mad JAM and LeadGen.

The Value Portal has a very strong and robust process of employees committing their ideas relevant for their customers, the ideas going through an approval cycle leading to an approval from the customers and then finally leading to implementation of the ideas. As of today, we have implemented around 7,000 ideas out of 25,000 ideas that got generated through Value Portal with certified business benefit by customers of over $470 million.

LeadGen encourages employees to contribute business opportunities, enabling them to add directly to HCL’s revenue and earn monetary reward with company-wide recognition.There has been a contribution of $200 million through this platform.

MAD JAM celebrates outstanding ideas from within HCL that have been implemented for clients.Till date MAD JAM has generated $50 million revenue for HCL.
