We Manage Your Brand As If It Were Our Own.
Of all the ways to communicate your brand, the places and spaces where you do business provide your most powerful connection to customers and clients. Icon assures that all of your facilities are showcases for your brand image. From the signs that announce your presence to the quality and conditions of every corner of your properties, Icon brands your places and spaces.
Icon’s management, services and specialized manufacturing capabilities allow us to provide support for virtually every facility branding need. Presenting optimal brand presence in the environment means identifying facilities, maintaining them in top condition, repairing and replacing things that aren’t working and managing changes that require construction. We do all of these things taking single source responsibility from curb-to-curb, wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling.
Careers at Icon
Our partnerships with colleges and consultants ensure we deliver best of class service to our clients. Our employees average over 80 hours annually of formal training, more than 100% more training hours than most Fortune 100 companies. As a fast growing national company, we are continually adding to our talent pool and developing our next generation of professionals.
Keeping Your Brand and Ours Green
It is irresponsible to conduct any business, particularly one engaged in significant manufacturing activities, without an absolute commitment to the environment. Our business model is built upon a balanced approach to serving all our client needs while safeguarding the long-term good of the planet.
Our green initiatives include sustainability in all phases of Operations, Manufacturing, Maintenance and Management. Sustainable design and manufacturing practices include fabricating energy- efficient signs and lighting systems, extensive recycling, a fleet of trucks that run on ultra-low sulfur diesel, green materials, solvents and chemicals, and attention to lowering our carbon footprint throughout our company’s behavior.
Our initiatives have the potential to save our clients $13 million in the coming year while helping all of us to safeguard the environment.

I have been working at Icon Identity Solutions full-time (more than 5 years)Pros
First off, the people that work there are great. It's a lot of work but there is fun to be had in the office. Work hard, play hard. I really like my co-workers, boss and the exec team. They really are trying to make it better. I think moral is up 100% compared to 3-4 years ago and have had several conversations with management on how to make people happier.
You will not succeed at this company if you don't have the drive to learn, ask the "stupid" questions and the backbone to work with customers and subcontractors. If you are overwhelmed, speak up.. I did and it completely changed the way I look at the company. First hand experience, they genuinely care about the well being and happiness of their employees. They are flexible, understanding and beyond supportive. But if you just complain to your co-workers and not your boss or the exec team, don't expect anything to change. Speak up, how can they make it better?
I love that every once and awhile, there will be a company outing or a team outing to get some fun time outside of the office. It gives us a chance to get to know other people that are not on our teams. I really think the company wants a "family" environment and are really trying to build on that.
Some of the reviews talk about the lay offs that have happened in the past. The job market is horrible right now, lay offs are happening everywhere. This is not just happening at Icon. Yes, it's horrible that is happens, but that's the world we live in right now. If you work hard and really care about your job, your customers and even contractors, the company will recognize that.Cons
Training is tough, the sign industry is a tough though. I know management is trying to figure out a better way to get new employees trained at Icon but it's hard the 1st six months or so. I still have hard times with locations and I have 7 years experience.
This is not an 8-5 job, not a big con as I don't mind, but should be known. I work when I get home or get into the office early. It is a lot of work.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Continue to push improvements on moral. At a previous job, the CEO would come by on a random day and say "OK, everyone go home". Not everyone can take advantage of that but knowing I could go home after I finished what I needed to do for that day was great. Give extra days off for those that travel a lot or take on extra projects that require additional time outside of work hours and time away from their families. Like I said, it's not an 8-5 job, award those that work those extra hours.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
