I have been working at Magenic Technologies full-time

Relaxed dress code, other developers are very friendly, benefits are pretty good, lots of training opportunities

Management lies frequently, you can be laid off at anytime but often when you'd be eligible for more than two weeks of severance, promotion requirements are vague, better benefits elsewhere, preys on fresh college graduates, pays them (on average) 20k less than market rate.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Magenic Technologies in March 2012.

    Interview Details

Applied online, received a call from their recruitment team, scheduled a phone interview. From there scheduled in person interview with recruitment team where they interviewed me and gave me an OOP test, which was dated and extremely easy. Then I was scheduled for a group assessment test where I was asked some basic OOP and SQL questions by 3 different interviewers (separately), again very easy. Was given an offer, and accepted

    Interview Questions
    • If you had to measure the number of golf balls that could fit in a bus, how would you do it?   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
They will low-ball you, if you are a confident, competent developer don't settle for less than market.
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

Magenic's size allows us to offer clients the one-on-one personalized attention and respect they deserve but can’t find with software behemoths, while... More
