National Income Life's parent company, American Income Life Insurance Company, was founded more than half a century ago with just $25,000 in borrowed capital, and today, with NILICO, the companies have become an international provider of supplemental life insurance to labor unions, credit unions, and associations.
American Income first appeared on the business landscape with a truly unique idea—developing a niche marketplace selling supplemental life insurance products to labor unions and working families in America.
The founding principle was to improve the quality of life of the working class and to provide Opportunity Unlimited to all who became associated with National Income and American Income Life. We've succeeded in that endeavor.

Annual Sales Convention
Each year qualifying National Income Life representatives and their guests have the opportunity to attend our Annual Convention held in various popular locations. Conventions have included Caribbean cruises, the Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Walt Disney World, Miami Beach, Puerto Rico, Beverly Hills, The Dominican Republic, and New York City.
Each year, NILICO honors its top producers at our annual convention by recognizing our Top Individual Producers, Supervising Agents, General Agents, Master General Agents, Regional General Agents, State General Agents, Public Relations Representatives, and PR Managers in the Company.
Other special recognition awards are presented to the President's Club, Founder's Club, SGA of the Year, and qualifiers to the Million Dollar Club for that particular year.
In addition, throughout the year, top producers are recognized each week and month via Company communications.
Recognition opportunities include the Leadership Academy. Leadership Academy is held several times a year and is geared for middle-level managers and managers in training. These seminars are full of valuable information on how to lead and strengthen a successful Agency.

All of our interviews require that the candidates dress professionally (business attire).
What should I take to an interview?
You should bring a great attitude and at least two copies of your resume.
What sort of questions can I expect?
Questions will be based on your past work experience, career objectives, and work ethic. You should plan on spending one to two hours with us on the day of your interview.
Who will interview me?
Someone on the local State General Agent Management Team will conduct the interview.
How should I prepare for an interview?
Review your resume, and come up with questions for the interviewer. Make sure you are on time.

I received a call from someone stating that they had seen my resume online and were interested in meeting with me regarding a Benefits Coordinator position and briefly described the position. I immediately stated if this was a commission based sales position I was not interested. I was told no it was not. I then asked if this was a salaried position, I was told yes, but they did not have the details in front of them and the interviewer would go over that.Interview Questions
