I applied online. It took around 5 weeks for a final decision, after 2 telephone interviews and 3 face to face meetings. The selection process was unnecessarily lengthy and the company completely disrespected the amount of time I had invested in their process. They had initially informed me that it was to be a 2 stages. This changed after each 'final' step, where they then kept asking me back for a further appointment.
My first 4 interviews I believed had "nothing but positive feedback" which was very encouraging. After my final interview, the internal recruiter kept making empty promises to call me back with a decision, which I had to follow up on, even though I had informed her that I had already been presented with another offer on the table at this stage.
All in all, a very negative candidate experience which they did nothing to help alleviate. Even after a series of 5 interviews they made no efforg to provide me with some proper, professional feedback. Should I ever return to work in recruitment internally, I will be sure to never recommend the company for PSL as it's definitely not a company I'd ever choose to work with. If their own internal recruitment processes are this chaotic I just dread to think how they treat candidates and clients. Likewise, I will not be choosing to apply to their training academy again as I certainly don't have another 5 weeks to waste in a highly unorganised process.Interview Questions
