When we launched United BioSource Corporation, we had a clear vision of what we wanted to do: build a leading pharmaceutical services organization that brought higher scientific expertise and greater levels of experience to our clients.

True to that vision, we now have over 2,100 employees in 25 offices worldwide, 30% of whom hold advanced science degrees – and 10% of whom hold a PhD, MD or equivalent.

Chad Clark

General Manager, Comprehensive Access and Patient Support

Chad Clark is General Manager of Comprehensive Access and Patient Support for United BioSource Corporation (UBC), a global medical and scientific affairs organization that partners with life science companies to develop and commercialize their products.

In this role, Chad provides strategic direction and operational oversight for three major business areas: safety and risk management; global market access; and patient support services. He leads a global team of more than 500 scientists, patient support professionals, and pricing and reimbursement experts to meet the needs of prescribers, pharmacies, patients and manufacturers worldwide.

Chad is a recognized industry leader respected for his ability to combine cutting-edge technology, strategic program design and operational excellence to effectively support clients in increasing evidence demands and product support. Over the past thirteen years, he has developed and managed the activities for some of the most complex registries in the world; successfully launched multi-lingual, multi-national systems and programs in North America and Europe; and has been influential in the majority of the more than 60 Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) that UBC has designed and implemented. His experience spans all major therapeutic areas and includes specialty products prescribed and administered in a wide variety of treatment settings.

Prior to joining UBC, Chad led DataPhase IV, a registry company he founded to meet the increasing need for mandated patient registries and risk management programs within the pharmaceutical industry. He also served as a director for Clinical and Pharmacologic Research, Inc., (now Kendle International, Inc.), a global clinical research organization. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, and is married with two young children.

Sean Hart

General Manager, Product Approval and Commercialization

Sean Hart is General Manager of Product Approval and Commercialization for United BioSource Corporation (UBC), a global medical and scientific affairs organization that partners with life science companies to develop and commercialize their products.

In this role, Sean provides strategic direction and operational oversight for six major business areas: Peri- and Post-approval Research, Pharmacovigilance, Outcomes Research, Health Economics, Clinical Operations Support, and Regulatory Affairs. He leads a global team of scientists, health researchers, and operational support professionals to provide comprehensive scientific and strategic solutions to support client needs for real-world data in product development and commercialization.

Sean is also a member of UBC’s Executive Leadership Team, with responsibilities including merger and acquisition support, and global operations management. He has led UBC’s efforts to establish operations spanning Europe, including in Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom, and continues to play a leading role in the company’s European expansion efforts. He is also the senior Governance executive for UBC’s many preferred provider relationships with pharmaceutical companies.

Prior to joining UBC, Sean was Chief Executive Officer of BBCI, a clinical research organization that specialized in Phase IV programs, and was acquired by UBC in 2004. During his tenure, BBCI achieved more than 30% growth annually.

Sean is a recognized industry leader in Phase IV clinical trials, post-marketing surveillance programs, and patient registries. His experience spans all major therapeutic areas and all phases of research and development.

Sean also serves as an Executive Board Member for the Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America (Kansas City Chapter). He holds a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University Of Kansas and a Master’s Degree in Business and Marketing from Webster University. Born and raised in Kansas City, he is also a graduate of the Barstow School, which he still actively serves as a member of the alumni board. He lives in Kansas City with his wife and three children.

Patrick Lindsay

Executive Vice President

Patrick Lindsay has been a leader in the healthcare and pharmaceutical services industry for more than twenty-five years. At UBC, Mr. Lindsay is responsible for clinical services, as well as for strategies for specialty, virtual and emerging companies. He is also responsible for clinical operations, business growth strategy, sales and marketing and acquisition support. As Executive Vice President, he guides the development of UBC’s mission and direction as an evidence-based organization.

Mr. Lindsay is unconditionally focused on establishing high-level customer relationships and partnering with customers to match UBC service offerings to their research development projects, from both strategic and execution perspectives.

During his career, Mr. Lindsay has held senior management positions in such diverse areas as clinical stage operations, data management, biostatistics, information technology, marketing and business development. He earned his bachelor of science in Management from Rosemont College, Pennsylvania.
