    I worked at Zions Bank

    Pros

The people are excellent. I've never worked with such a great, supportive, and willing-to-help group of people. The atmosphere was good, and I felt like I worked for a respected, trusted organization.

    Cons

I wished sometimes that I had had more training when I first started out. That was a challenge for me. I also disliked having my raises based off of generating business for the bank in a manner above and beyond what my job description called for.

    Interview Details

You will be required to do a sale over the phone from calling someone who just opened a new account. They prefer you to find needs and then sale everything at the very end based upon what they said. They are mainly looking for a smooth transition with open ended questions to establish needs. The prefered products sold in the interview have to do with loans. After you have passed the phone interview by selling to them, you will be asked to come for an in person interview. This will be to test your communication with on the spot questions and to see if you can follow instructions to complete a computer task. You will need to detail oriented in your answers for the manager, and show excitement in your tone. Be prepared to give examples of workplace difficulties, problem resolution, and client interaction.
