Current Employee – been working at Accenture full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Opportunity with some very smart, motivated people
Cons – Forced to work with some of the biggest aholes as well, whose only response to tough times is to work more
Advice to Senior Management – Start being the consultancy clients hire you to be, and stop just bending to the will of the client. We were hired to fix their issues, not become part of them and the clients' neurosis

Current Employee – been working at Accenture full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Fairly decent amount of paid holidays (25). All of the perks that come with travelling (per diem, miles/points, etc) help make those vacations essentially free.
Very good people to work with and for. You are given opportunities to stretch yourself.
Benefits are ok - ESPP allows you to purchase stock at 15% discount, 401(k) match up to 6% at $0.50 per dollar.
Cons – Pay is competitive once you join, but you will quickly see your raises/bonuses align with everyone else at your level.
Pierre (CEO) is focused on cost cutting, making what few "perks" we had non-existent. Policy is to use the corporate card, but if you want the points, you have to pay the $75 annual fee now. On the plus side, this helps with bottom line and creating shareholder value.
You can get screwed in annual review if you join a project at the wrong time. No paid overtime, even though you will be working OT more often than not.
Advice to Senior Management – Let top performers branch out a bit and try different functions/areas/industries. More than likely, if someone can excel at one task, they can excel at something else.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Accenture full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The amazing culture of the organization permeates throughout all offices. I worked on the consulting side as well as in services, and I loved the people I worked with.
Cons – Overtime is an unspoken expectation, and despite the numerous people initiatives, it feels as though its just lip service, and senior management really doesn't care to make the work environment better.
Advice to Senior Management – People are your key resources - lip service isn't enough to improve engagement.
