    Pros

    1. Brilliance all around. The talent Adobe has will amaze you again and again.
    2. Good compensation. Other benefits are equally good. Employee Share Purchase Plan is really beneficial.
    3. Appraisals happens 4 times a year!!!! So, you don't have to wait for the "cycle" to get appraised. They don't follow the Bell Curve as well, best thing which I've seen till now in terms of appraisals.
    4. Haven't seen any "politics" as such at my level.
    5. Senior managers regularly conduct skip level meetings which are actually helpful (not just for the sake of process).

    Cons

Nothing as such. Had a really good time with the company.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the good work up.

  3. Big Brand with creative products which pay less.

I worked at Adobe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) People oriented organization.
    2) Free food and overall nice bonus.
    3) Less and mundane work load for most of the software engineers. This gives quite a time to prepare for other big giants.
    4) opportunity to work very close to customers.
    5) good for product evangelism career.
    6) heaven who like to be jack of all trade.
    7) if super lucky you might get chance to work for adobe tech labs which is awesome.
    8) if lucky you might get chance to work in CC products and that's what adobe is known for.
    9) overall good for people looking for stable life.

    Cons

    1) People driven company so process are just on papers.
    2) few teams are can be curse to your career.
    3) hike is low 8-13% max.. Which is bad.
    4) few teams don't encourage automation.. So software engineer are just manual tester. This is a real pain.
    5) it can be difficult to explain other firms what you are doing in adobe.
    6) 1:2 tester: dev ratio.. Sometimes there is just team of just 4 tester to drive multi million product. So low quality products specifically non CC products.
    7) real bad policy of exit. Might be a shocker for few because again it is people driven.

    Advice to Management

It is time to revamp your old managers and get some innovation rather than milking the same old cow. Keep doing the good stuff as a company because the name adobe is enough to bring the pride on employee face.

    Pros

    Great products
    Good education reimbursement policy
    Good facilities

    Cons

Each manager of a team has his/her own processes
Adobe would pay higher and ruin the career leaving employee with no market value
Ideas are not appreciated, same are implemented as projects by higher management mostly from outside India.
Company culture varies from team to team
No different than a typical call-center
Promotions are solely on the basis on the extent to which you can flatter your manager
Most openings don't get rolled out internally

    Advice to Management

Have a regular survey and action on the items.
Chucking people out is no solution, fix the process
    Appreciate and retain talent
Provide growth opportunities to all and not just to favorites

    Pros

Good facility, great office, good infrastructure though they can expand and have bigger infrastructure catering to more number of employees. Work-life balance is good and a lot depend on you manager too.

    Cons

Very flexible as far as the company policies go but as is with every other MNCs in India, operations is often the most targeted cost-center.
A lot is given in the hands of management without any written rules.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent in processes in operations. Cost cutting is not done at the cost of ESAT. Management should be carefully chosen
