Software Engineer (Former Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

Pros- Will get plenty of responsibilities
    - Great to practice formal software engineering methodologies

    Cons- Terrible job stability
    - Terrible management

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't just try to give good news to your subordinates or superiors --- tell the truth, no matter how bitter it may be -- when the truth reveals itself and it's too late to fix the issues, this is what happens; the company goes bankrupt.

ProsInteresting work. Good experience for people looking to start a career in embedded software development.
    Young staff.
    Prime downtown office location.

ConsContract work makes for a large variation in work loads.
Scope creep on past projects resulted in poorly compensated overtime.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you aren't going to develop a product, stick to contract employees. Get back into the Waterloo Coop program. Some of the best past employees came from there.
