Current Employee – been working at Aston Carter full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – with so many clients and so many good relationships across London Aston Carter represents an awesome platform to make money for any budding recruiter.
Excellent career opportunity as all promotions are based on personal performance - no barriers to entry.
Equity is on the cards from day one and is a big reward at the end of the year.
Cons – with such a competative and successful team you have to work hard to succeed - but this isn't any different to any other company I have worked in.
Advice to Senior Management – ensure all staff understand the opportunity in front of them.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Aston Carter full-time for less than a year
Pros – Continual support and ongoing training provided by a highly skilled team which is enhanced by a mentoring system.
Cons – In return for the extensive training, AC expects high levels of commitment and dedication from employees, unfortunately some fall by the wayside.
Advice to Senior Management – Cross business area/team interaction could be further enhanced in order to maximise the business opportunities for individual teams.

Former Employee – worked at Aston Carter full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Good potential to earn.
They let you sleep for 6 hours a day, (but the rest you're expected at work)
Good banter before management stamp it out.
Cons – Hours are ridiculous
Management are inconsistent and make things up as they go.
Made to feel guilty for taking holiday and preferably not take it.
Trying to turn business into a factory with every minute accounted for and standardised, so free thinking not needed.
Advice to Senior Management – People perform better when they don't have someone standing over them every second asking what they are doing.
KPI's are not the most important thing in the universe
Good billers don’t necessarily make good managers.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Aston Carter full-time for less than a year
Pros – Market you well, Contract will be good credit goes to the third party agency (Innoware) will do on behalf of aston carter
Cons – Too many false commitments (Normally any body shopping agency does that, but as per my experience these people are least professional), Benefits are less, No sick leaves, No medical cards where the other consultants in the same team have more benefits, this is in an investment bank where all the benefits should be identical, so any one who got an offer from these people should negotiate and get what they are eligible for. They don't have any standards.

Former Employee – worked at Aston Carter full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Excellent meritocratic structure, with a focus on rewarding excellence. Good salaries and benefits, with an average commission structure. Great working atmosphere with polite and well educated colleagues, and a fun environment within which to work in this pressurised industry.
Cons – Aggressive management with a favouritism towards legacy performers. Serious lack of investment in staff. No appreciation for the fact that the staff may actually be brighter than some of the management and have the potential to offer something extra - the problem when dumb people hire bright graduates and money loses its motivating edge...
Advice to Senior Management – Stop looking outside and see what you had right there in front of you. It just needed a little cultivating.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
