    Pros

Fun people. Easy to please management. Seems impossible let to get fired unless you're just stupid. need more words so here they are. Words. Words. Words. Words.

    Cons

One team concept. They will try to give you as little money as possible. Very erratic schedule. Customers can be difficult at times.

    Pros

Fun environment to be in, freedom to roam around helping people, talk cars all day, build relationships with customers

    Cons

Low pay, lower raises, random hours, managers expect you to be a doormat for angry customers, make you pay for your uniform (Only company I have ever worked for that didn't provide uniform).

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging so much and focus on the bigger picture: The customer. And listen to your employees!!! How about alternating weekends off ive worked Friday Saturday sunday for the last 4 months straight

    Pros

If you're passionate about cars, and enjoy helping people, AutoZone is a great choice. The benefits package is fair, the company is stable, and it is easy to move up, and with over 5000 stores, there are opportunities around the country. The leadership at the top is good - this is a company going in the right direction.

    Cons

The company seemingly doesn't want to invest the time or money to attract or retain the best talent, so you end up losing your best people, and hiring part time, minimum wage, entry level people to take their place.

    Advice to Management

Your experience varies greatly depending on who your District Manager is, but the majority of people I speak with are not happy overall with their jobs in the company, at the store level.
