    Pros

A merchandisers dream job! District call outs daily, company email on your phone, district support where managers reach out to congratulate you or encourage you to get to the next level. Great work-life balance with 4 weeks vacation to start.

    Cons

Sales budget can be unattainable at times, but that is anywhere in retail.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clearer designation between departments - petites and women's are a tad too alike. Petites is over assorted.

    Pros

Learned customer service skills. Management was understanding and always nice. Flexibility in your weekly schedule. Good work life balance. Get raise every June months

    Cons

Different hours every week. Training was very vague. Time went by slow. Other Co workers were occasionally rude. Rude customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to your employees, I've witnessed many of my coworkers slacking off or playing on their phone during work time.

I have been working at Banana Republic part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Employee discounts, positive work environment (great in store management and coworkers), socially conscious company, flexible hours, easy to request time off in short amounts of time.

    Cons

There aren't many cons to working here besides difficult customers, somewhat monotonous work and having to hit credit card opening goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The style of clothes has changed rapidly over the past few years and they've been slow to react to the market. Recently they hired a new designer and are looking to change that.
