Current Employee – been working at Banco Bradesco full-time for more than 3 years

ProsWork experience. You get to meet people from all walks of life, some of them you'd never imagine working with, but it enriches your career if you know how to control yourself.

ConsCompensation policy. Once approved for a new position, your wage won't immediately increase. It can take up to 2 years before getting paid what has been promised during the hiring process. Most people are unsatisfied, but don't leave the company due to family commitments.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay attention to your customers, internal and external.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Banco Bradesco

Pros* One of the Big Four banks in Brazil, the others being Banco do Brasil, Itaú Unibanco and Santander Brasil.
* Traditional, well-known brand in Brazil
* Solid bank with a huge base of customers

Cons* Paternal culture
* Lower salary compared to competitors
* No international career opportunities
* Big-company problems, like bureaucracy
* +85000 employees - very unsatisfying about being one of many

Advice to Senior ManagementThere is a need for cultural change in the bank to promote innovation. The bank lacks incentives to foster employees participation in bringing new solutions. Leadership at Banco Bradesco should also build a mentorship program designed to create relationships that nurture careers through free-flowing ideas.
