    Laid back, friendly people, good work environment. Been here 2 years and haven't had any issues with management or lack of work.

    Cons

    Haven't seen much in the way of Cons. To advance up, you just need to further your education.

    Pros

    Everyone was very nice and helpful when I needed help with paperwork and/or benefits.

    Cons

    Ionly worked for the Company for a short time even though I was in that position for years prior. I was separated from the company due to having to miss work because of illness and my son was diagnosed with a serious illness that is now under controll.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I wish that I would have been talked to more and given another chance since all my work was always done and done corrrectly even when I had to miss work.

    Pros

    Payroll is efficient with no issues
    Training requirements are proactively addressed
    Belcan's relationship with the client site is very good and constantly managed
    Belcan doesn't add complication to the job- no micromanagement
    Pay is very good, as is the overtime policy

    Cons

    Career advancement isn't a priority
    Vacation "time" is stagnant and low
    No 401k match
    No help available for work issues...told generalities whenever an issue is brought up
    Benefits are expensive

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to give more feedback to the on site Contractors from the Client site. We are generally in the dark about what to improve upon and what we're doing well.

    A better vacation policy would increase morale.

    Pros

    Good team, decent pay. Work was interesting sometimes, and sometimes not. But the team was not trusted by the customers with heavy duty engineering tasks. That is the nature of contract work though.

    Cons

    Raises were poorly handled. Office was dingy and upper mgmt. did not make a real effort to clean it up. Offering some small perks instead of being stingy would have made a big difference in morale.

    base raises on performance alone, fire and certainly do not give raises to nonperforming individuals.

    getting paycheck on time, 2 weeks vacation

    no growth oppurtunity, you will do samething all over again, no training, low salary and no increase
