    Great team and great work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Pros1. Flexible working hours. Work from home
    2. Free lunch, snacks and beverages Macbook pro
    3. a lot of new things to learn
    4. great team and enjoying working with them

    Cons1. Delayed and biased appraisal
    2. Offers you good money but not good as you deserve !
    3. poor HR management.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen you are talking about high quality people then it comes high quality engineers. There are few persons in team who are passionate to their work and they should be paid accordingly. Hire 1 better guy over 2 good guy. A LOT OF improvements need to be done in QA.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Unprofessional, Unethical, Poor leadership, non transparent

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsMacbook / snacks and lunch

    ConsFeedback for bsb portal

    1. No employee training policy, one is supposed to figure out on their own and re invent the wheel in terms of understanding the role, company vision, goals and individual contribution areas.

    2. The company projects itself as centered around "innovation" which means Expert feedback is not even considered by the project managers and the decision over product is based on Project Manager's whims and fancies overlooking every reasoning resulting in substandard final product which is not even close to competitors. The experts in the employee base who handle the business do not want to use the company product and instead rely on competitive products and the management cant see through this.

    3. Portal office has the worst leadership as well as employee relation. Does not seem to even want to cooperate with regarding smallest of issues to issues in daily work environment.

    4. People leaving the company in bulk is a common trend especially from the Portal office. There have been many instances from ex employees as to how their annual bonuses were compromised with after dropping a resignation even when they were eligible.

    5. Poor work ethics, there is no transparency in terms of how policies like Work From Home, working hour etc applies. 8:30 to 6 and 12:00 to 6 are some extremes of differences people observe . So work hours as well as work duration seems to depend on how well the relationships (read as regular buttering up) are maintained. Project Manager will not give feedback on time and then complain to Senior Leadership about colleagues about failure to deliver. Also, they sometimes do not shy away from making personal comments about one's personal space.

    6. The products are a cheap replica of the competitors who have already gone a step ahead and made radical innovations. Features after features request are build on paper which never see the light of the day. Instead some Stone Age version of "Hackathon" produces overnight ideas which are supposed to be incorporated.

Advice to Senior Management1. Hire leaders with people skills and not just the stamps from IIM, IIT or US universities.
    2. Transparency in terms of employee policies
    3. Work ethics
    4. Make sure that if you hire people in dedicated roles, you hear them.

Family Oriented Company and not a good option to work with this organization

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsSnacks ,Free lunch , macbook to work and sometimes flexi timing

ConsThere are lots of challenges to work here :

You have to be mentally very strong to accept day to day challenge and think about your decision to work here.
I am not sure about Hike,Games and Hopper but this feedback for BSB Portal.

    Working here like a hell
    There are no career growth
    There are no personal growth
    There are no learning opportunities

i can't even think one positive or motivative think so I can work here.

Why it is family oriented because you will get only good increment of your salary in appraisal for below reasons :
    1. If you are good friend of manager (only one manager here for every person)
    2. If you worked with manager in former organization
    3. If you have attitude like "yes sir yes sir" then you can also get good increment
    3. If you married then you will also get good increment
    4. If you married and have children then you will get better increment

BUT IF YOU ARE BACHELOR THEN NO MATTER HOW MUCH PASSION AND ABILITY YOU HAVE AND HOW MUCH WORK YOU HAVE DONE FOR ORGANIZATION, you will get only standard 5 % increment of salary.

This sounds to be funny but its true and happening in this organization.

I will never recommend anyone to go for this organization.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome people are good in management but some are ruining the environment so for those who are ruining the environment, Don't treat employee as a labour and don't try to shout with your position. Remember employee has a option to leave the organization. This was my worst organization to work with and my worst experience ever.

One of the best startups to work with in India!

Software Engineer (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana

    Pros* Extremely passionate, talented team.
    * Good pay.
    * Great office, all the facilities you could ask for (free lunch, snacks, beverages, gym, 24" monitors).
    * Flexible timings, work from home options.
    * Working on exciting new products.

    Cons* Growth/appraisal is slow.
    * Strong engineering talent, but poor design talent.
    * The company is still struggling to establish 'core values', something that does not change with time. Values seem to fluctuate with every product cycle.

Advice to Senior ManagementEstablish your core values. Your users always come first. Don't let growth come at the expense of your product's integrity and brand.

    Great experience

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsExtremely challenging and interesting work , good opportunities. Lots of responsibilities.
Freedom of work . Flat structure etc etc.

ConsThere are few areas where management lacks inexperience , which could be the case for any startup. Management make some adhoc decisions, again could happen in any startup.
Some undeserving and non performers are holding high positions , not necessarily in tech roles, which is hampering the performance of the company and is leading to demoralization of other employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease correct the above stated cons and take them seriously. Undeserving people should not be part of the team , even if they are friends. Otherwise , BSB rocks.
