I worked at CEB full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Salary, Transparency, Recognition, Company Values, Location, Employee Engagement Outings, Learning Experience, Knowledge boost sessions.

    Cons

India Office: Poor Leadership in DPI, Manager busy polluting work ethics, Politics, Competing with subordinates, Biased leadership, Believe in divide and rule than team effort, Leadership not bothered about your growth but rather pulls you down so that they don't loose any asset, Don't allow time off's easily and always have illogical excuses to cancel it, whole team are run by hypocrites who have no knowledge or business oriented approach, managers steal your achievements and portray as their own.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage staff's growth and value leadership feedback's more often. Also, please increase the TMT departments strength from 4-5 to at least 15-20 for the 300+ staff.

Senior Leadership needs strong/urgent coaching to lead.

Former Employee - Senior Manager in Gurgaon, Haryana

I worked at CEB full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The salary is per industry standards. In case your manager is fine then you can have time flexibility. The learning curve depends upon team to team. There is good possibility of getting lot to work on exciting projects and with exciting folks but that depends on team to team.

    Cons

The company started with a vision but it seems to have lost now in rush of expanding. Senior Leadership is loosing its credibility and turning from logical/mature to blind/ignorant. CEB firmly believes that money can buy anything, esp. India HR Leaders. CEB believes in firing the employees at ground level, who is working rather than trying to talk things out. But politics can be part of any firm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior Leadership needs coaching upon "How to Lead", on urgent basis. Instead of firing people on ground level, I guess some of the dirty senior leaders needs to be turned out which are saved purposely.

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Gurgaon, Haryana
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Gurgaon, Haryana

I worked at CEB full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent infrastructure; Flexible work environment; overall smart people; good work-life balance most of the times

    Cons

Relatively limited career growth and opportunities, especially in India office; growth depends mostly on personal connect and rapport with the manager and/or senior management; mostly monotonous work and products; significant deterioration in terms of Senior Management (US-based) commitment to grow India core operations - most focus on making it a back office and support rather than front-end high-value delivering office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set expectations clearly when hiring new people. Aim to remove personal biases which most senior managers could have and bring transparency into career planning.
