I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time

    Pros

There are many opportunities to lead and advance your skill set if you are motivated. Great benefits, especially company 401k contributions and health insurance.

    Cons

Limited opportunity for raises for employees not motivated to advance their skills (no annual cost of living increase). Matrix organizational structure leads to functionally conflicting priorities. Work-life balance is not a priority for much of management.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Very shallow management structure. You are close to real decision makers. Really enjoyed my time for the majority of the stay. Opportunities to get involved in a large part of the business within my role.

    Cons

Heavily political in Europe. Despite being notionally a US company it is still Fiat so European culture prevails. So make your friendships fast and be willing to change.....

My time came to an end when management changed from Italian to French and my role based in the UK became untenable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Was doing OK when I left, other than the constant unecessary reorganisations. Too many rededuncies of good experienced people.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time

    Pros

Not much actually. If you are a senior director and up, the benefits are quite attractive.

    Cons

    Everything else.

Very poor management (globally). There's not a global company culture - It only matters that you are Italian. That's the key decision maker. Independently of your skills.

    Heavily political company.

Thinking on innovation, improvements or changes is a blasphemy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Micromanagement is not acceptable. Major changes are required at top levels.
Low paid & Low skills are a major roadblock to the company growth.
Business roadmap must be consistent and supported by facts. Not by political decisions.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

It is a big company with operations all around the world
The compensation is higher than the average

    Cons

    Poor benefits
The management appears to be interested only on short term goals and save their place
Employees are not appreciated and empowered
Employees are just considered as replaceable workers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate the job done by your team, implement a bottom up evaluation method, change the way benefits are distributed, consider a more long term approach, choose the managers by actual merit, stop relying mainly on interns and VIE, create a real career path for employees professional growth

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Company and industry are very complex and there is a lot of opportunity to develop new skills and learn new things if you are willing to take on challenges. 401k plan is outstanding. Health benefits are good too. I am also happy with my salary for now. Work life balance is also pretty good. People are really nice.

    Cons

There are no raises. You will never get a cost of living increase. Bonus plan is bogus as well if you are not at a certain level. Because of this turn over is extremely high and nobody knows exactly what is going on. Training is non existent. Not because nobody is willing to help, but try finding someone who knows what's going on. Management is very poor. They only care about meeting their numbers and agendas by any means possible and not acknowledging what reality is saying. They do not care about you as a human being and if it suits their purposes they won't hesitate to throw you under the bus. There is no formal career development. You are only a number here. Morale sucks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take it for what it's worth and move on. There are some good opportunities to learn some complex things and develop certain skill sets, albeit on your own, in an environment where who cares if you make mistakes and fumble along the way. Learn and develop as much as you can on their dime and time and in 3 years when you're fully vested take your decent 401k nest egg and use that talent that you've developed at Cnh's expense and put it to good use to add value at a company that will recognize and value it.

If you are not in a position where you are learning new things and are bored, get out now. You're wasting your time and talents on this train wreck.

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

If you are flexible & willing to devote yourself, there are numerous opportunities to advance your career...

    Cons

To be truly successful, you require a 'sponsor'; it's a truly political environment, for even if you have demonstrated exceptional performance, this is not valued if you do not 'network' / market yourself to the "right influential cliques".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Evaluate your talent unbiased; assess those whose are articulate (against their true contributions) and those more reserved but bring true value to the business. Let "action speak louder than words"!

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

There are several projects or initiatives with a global scope, therefore you can get interactions and professional experiences with different cultures and colleagues in the world. You can be exposed to challenging projects.
The company provides a fair set of benefits, but for a large number of employees.
Entry level salaries are above the average, in Italy.
Company makes profits and it doesn't have many competitors.

    Cons

It runs in a mature business, therefore it might not be your ideal choice if you are looking for a fast paced environment.
There can be a sensible difference in rewards and salaries between countries.
Poor talent management initiatives, and job rotation is not easy, although it is formally encouraged.
Not easy to get career growth opportunities and salaries increase.
Some of the senior management is old fashioned.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need a major change in HR management.
Improve company identity could also help, as well as more trainings to middle management.
