Comcast

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Comcast

ProsBenefit's are awesome - from healthcare to TV and internet service. Large Company, so movement is often available for those that are willing and able.

ConsVery top heavy organizational charts, leaving few to actually do the work. Slow to move forward on project's because so many need to approve and they are too far away from the actual work that is being done.

Advice to Senior ManagementTurning into the "bank" of Comcast - more VP title's do not encourage growth - it is slowing down the machine.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Comcast

ProsFast paced and always changing environment. This allows you to stay at the forefront of new technology. Pay is very good, very good benefits and more than ample time off.

ConsToo many members of lower management. This sometimes causes red tape and confusion when trying to do your job

Overall a Cool Job with Great Earning Potential

DSR Winback Representative (Current Employee)
Philadelphia, PA (US)

I have been working at Comcast full-time for more than a year

ProsHours are flexible, you can make 6 figures, nice benefit package, base salary, amazing product and ultimately its like running your own business.

ConsDoor to door (especially this winter) can be absolutely brutal, Comcast's reputation, things change daily, market is pretty saturated and at time supervisor can micromanage.

Advice to Senior ManagementThey need to make sure that we aware when promotions change, give more support to agents who are struggling, try not to undermine the field reps with better promos through the internet and mailings and change the schedule back to Monday through Friday.
