    Pros

Very established company that treats people fairly. Very strong brand and good products. Extremely nice people to work with- everyone is willing to go above and beyond to help.

    Cons

There is lots of red tape, and at times it seems like one division doesn't know what another is doing. This can be frustrating.

    Pros

    Brand of the company.
    Quoted company.
    History of the company.

    Cons

People / life value absolutely not important.
Values are present only on the paper.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Local management seeks more its visibility than business strategies.
The company is managed locally as a farm.
Management invests more to convince employees that they have the chance to work for D & B than to convince customers to choose D&B solutions.
    The company is not gratefuld.
In case of dismissal management prefers to invest in court proceedings as to compensate its employees.

I have been working at D&B full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Incredible assets; Good working environment; Good work life-balance; D&B is changing it's culture to become a much more interesting/exciting place to be.

    Cons

Sales compensation plan is punitive; Very demotivating; Not sure if I can afford to work for D&B in this environment. Need a greater focus on the customer experience; Turn-around times for fixing data quality issues, contract turn-around time, finance review, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The vision is great. The efforts that are being made to change the culture are working. The devil is in the details and there are some old processes that need to be changed in order for us to be world class.

    Former Employee - S&MS Specialist

    I worked at D&B full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great stable company, good salary and pay compensation, great place to work if you have been within a Fortune 500 company.

    Cons

No work life balance, care more about the numbers to the street than the employees. Lots of competition in this industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The practice of moving accounts around where one sales person takes quota of what has been sold by another sales person is terrible in retaining talent.

Current Employee - Sales and Marketing Specialist in Atlanta, GA (US)

I have been working at D&B full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

D&B tries to do its best with providing the necessary support and tries to listen to its employees for constant feedback. Sales culture has many opportunities for improvement, but overall compared to many other companies, it still stands above the rest when it comes to how they treat sales people within the Fortune 500 sector.

    Cons

Time off is good with 3 weeks vacation first full year. Growth options are good along with excellent training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Push down the walls of the organization to make it easier to sell. Internal administrative processes and work flow need to be greatly improved to ensure that sales people are not overwhelmed doing only post customer support and administrative type work.
