Good job for a student or a "carry-over" job

Kid's Club Attendant (Current Employee) Murphy, TX (US)

Pros-The work environment is great.
-The people are welcoming and personable.
-The job is fairly simple: keep the kids safe, and have fun with them
-The job is not high demand in responsibilities

Cons-The pay is really low. Just think, you're watching dozens of kids throughout the day with a lot of risks and liability potential for $7.50/hour, and at the same time there are teenage girls getting paid more like $10/hour for watching 1 or 2 kids at someone's house.
-The training seemed to be minimal (but luckily it doesn't take much to learn this job)

    Many More Cons Than Pros

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    I worked at 24 Hour Fitness full-time

Pros: Free gym membership and trying to help people change their lives for… Cons: Not getting compensation that is commensurate with experience, knowledge, skill set and company expectations (i.e. not getting paid what you're worth); having to be a… Advice to Senior Management: Spend more $ on your employees and improving *all* of the clubs, not just creating big, brand new Super… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
