    Big company with rich resources and be able to achieve what it decides.

    Cons

    hire too many contractors some of who are not qualified.

    reduce macro-management and hire the qualified person.

    Pros

    Excellent company overall, great educational program - keeps the workforce trained on newest technologies and helping give the company an edge. Majority of workforce is dedicated to their jobs. Exceptional benefits.

    Large company, laid off due to economy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper management should be more aware of individuals work performance during layoffs and the employees who are actually doing the work and not layoff people looking at org charts.
