I'm glad I was made redundant

I worked at Accenture full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Procedures insured I was paid on time, in full.Expenses also paid in a timely fashion.

    Cons

Filling in two sets of time-sheets that were difficult to balance caused by working peculiar hours. I was outsourced to ACN from previous company and we all knew we would be made redundant eventually, because they make more money out of offshore staff. (this happened over a period of 7 years:I don't think any technical staff are left now). Poor training, no help with 'career' progression. Management remote - I only ever talked to my manager's manager once. If you want to be treated like an individual rather than a unit of production, don't work for Accenture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people as individuals rather than as units of production. 'Process' does not preclude human interaction.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO
