Pros

- Visionary leadership
- Progressive with respect to new patient care models and channels, clinical service lines, community engagement, accountable care strategy, technology
- Positive, collaborative culture - people really want to do the right thing for patients, the community and the organization

Cons

- Can be challenge to balance desired speed of execution with required internal processes/approvals
- Limited budgets/resources (especially in IT) can constrain projects

    work is close to home

    Cons

    Allina has very poor ethics. They are constantly finding creative ways to bill Medicare/Medicade I.e. your tax dollars hard at work.

    I have been working at Allina Health part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great wages and benefits including health care and tuition reimbursement. The company focuses on personal employee wellness a lot which is good. Of all the healthcare companies in Minnesota they pay the best.

    Cons

    Some practices unsafe in certain locations according to my opinion, they talk about employee safety a lot but sometimes other staff compromises safety because they just want to get stuff done.

    Listen to the employees that you don't necessarily think are important.
