    I worked at American Greetings

    Pros

People are very nice, top brand name in the market.

    Cons

Very cut throat environment, do not foster a team atmosphere, but how can I get ahead primarily at the expense of my co-worker.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on fostering more of a team atmosphere.

I worked at American Greetings full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company Car, Work Independently, Not Micro-managed

    Cons

Headquarters is very unorganized. A feeling of being 'on call' 24/7.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get organized from the top down. When my DSM could not tell me EXACTLY who to contact for a very specific Human Resources question, I knew there were going to be problems.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
