Pros

For non-family oriented young type A men, this is a great place. There is a high expectation of promotable employees to relocate, often. Compensation can be lucrative, but it is highly leveraged against acheiving "KPI's" which some feel are are intentionally set too high.

Cons

Anheuser-Busch was acquired by InBev in November of 2008. The legacy A-B people (like me) are generally not happy. The legacy InBev people are generally very happy. Outsiders who join the company now are brought in by the legacy InBev people, so they are generally happy too.

Advice to Management

Stop giving speechs to the employees than include your opinion that of every 500 employees, only 5 or so are truly valuable. Its usually the only part of the speech they remember.

    Pros

In St. Louis, most of the people are still first-rate; carryovers from the "old A-B" when the rewards attracted the best & brightest. This is changing with layoffs and people leaving to find better jobs. People still try to work together (within departments and across departments) to get the job done right. One good thing about new management: They are accessible and down to earth. In this respect, an improvement and very refreshing.

    Cons

If you take a job here, know that you will be doing the work of 2 - 3 people since all departments were cut into the bone. Transition to InBev is being horribly mismanaged. Employees are being told benefit cuts, salary freezes, etc. are due to "the economic environment" but everyone knows A-B is doing just fine! Total compensation is now being re-set to the 50th percentile of marketplace. Quality employees are leaving, and more will leave once the job market opens up. Much is made of the opportunities available in the "meritocratic" environment but this only seems to apply to Director level and above. Low-class things being done in the name of cost-cutting; pay bills in 120 DAYS!, micro-manage (or eliminate) necessary business tools like printer paper, continuing education, etc.

    Advice to Management

    a) You bought the company so you have the right to run it as you see fit. However, realize that there are vital functions NOT BEING DONE because, you know, there are only 60 hours in the week and employees are only putting out fires. This will create some catastrophes in a few months. b) The company you bought is as good as it is because it made a point of attracting good people. If you want to keep good people, you will need to make some accommodations to what is important to workers in the U.S.

    Pros

Salaris, auto, bonus, laptop, allemaal geweldig. Leuke collega's en leuke producten en ondersteuning. Grote (verkoop) bijeenkomsten. Met name nationaal en internationaal. Inspirerende bedrijfsontwikkeling en carrièremogelijkheden.

Salary, car, bonus, laptop, all great. Fun colleagues and nice products and support. Great (sales) meetings. Especially national and international. Inspirational business development and career opportunities.

    Cons

Short in coaching and support for personal development. No smart phone and KPI's really wreck daily sales work. Focusing on indirectly applying rules and regulations. Morning (phone) calls were mainly a repeating of top-down info without being constructive in daily sales in any way.
