Pros

Paycheck every 2 weeks; Not a lot of overtime

Cons

Immature/unprofessional management; Month long blackout vacation time; High school acting coworkers; No real opportunity for upward career advancement; HR is nonchalant about employee issues; Does not care about education (i.e. Having a degree does not mean anything concerning your compensation)

Advice to Management

Managers should present policies and things going on and to come in a professional manner, that means not including their negative personal opinion about things that they nor their employees can have any control or input into changing.
Employees who are doing the jobs on a daily basis need to be able to provide more feedback on processes-- and the feedback listened to and taken seriously when making decisions about moving forward with bringing on more sites.
Need to establish more even work loads and tasks-- some seem to put assignments based on favoritism, so some employees are learning while others are given trivial mindless tasks.

Stable, but leadership is an exclusive club, not an indication of ability.

    Pros

I don't fear for my job. Health benefits are above average. By doing "good work" I have flexibility in assignments and working arrangements that others might not. If you don't expect to grow, it's a good place to work. If you're hourly, there's a plan and a path that many have forged from the contact center to a senior role.

    Cons

Becoming a member of the leadership team is invitation-based, not ability based. It takes a long time to replace departed managers. There is no peer interview process, 360 review, etc. The CEO is on-site less than 50% of the time and doesn't have an accurate pulse of the organization. There is no succession planning, consideration of past lives, etc.

    Advice to Management

Look at what your people did before they got here. Give people a reason to ignore the headhunters that call.
