Pretty good overall but ultimately, you are just a number.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Most positions allow you the option to work from home.

    Cons

Performance does not matter when it comes to layoffs. If you are the best in your department, you are still at risk. So in the end, it doesn't really matter how hard you work. It is very unfortunate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consult year-end reviews and monthly scorecards before you lay off a good employee.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Full time benefits, employee benefits

    Cons

To much micromanagement, too much presure to sell, not even following their own GUEST standards for their employees, managers spending too much time doing HR duties, no flexibility in employment, ancient computer systems with patchwork fixes, inflexible rules, no discernable heirarchy of command, training sporadic, work schedules subject to change without adequate notice, pay no commensurate with level of responsibility.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees should have more choice in every aspect of their employment. Training should incorporate best educational practices of the 21st century. Company should invest in modern technology.
