Current Employee – been working at Bed Bath & Beyond full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Never saying "no" to a customer. The growth of this company is incredible. Incentives are great also.
Cons – None really. Hours are long, but if you worked in retail before...its not bad.
Advice to Senior Management – Some management gets "fast tracked" waaaay to fast and do not have all the knowledge they need to succeed. This leads to not being able to train a strong team to support you and help you run a store.My advice, learn every aspect of the business and work in it for at least 6-8 months before moving to the next...then run a store right and go to district and regional.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
