I have been working at Brigham Young University (BYU) part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The environment helps me learn new skills and the people are great. People here are very friendly. The challenges I faced allowed me to expand my understanding. My employer and coworkers are very easy to get along with. I set my own hours every four months and I can adjust them when necessary.

    Cons

The culture here is obviously centered around the LDS Church and everyone who works here has to abide by the standards of the church. This could be seen as a con by some people.

I have been working at Brigham Young University (BYU) part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Flexible in hours, they let me take time off when I'm busy with school and work more when I need to make a little extra

    Cons

    Sometimes communication breaks down.
Overall goals for the organization are not clear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Are the Student Auxiliary Services supposed to be independent from the rest of the college? If so, then stop giving free services to the campus. If not, then stop laying staff off in an attempt to stay financially self-sustaining.
