C-Level customer exposure; good base salary, lot's of best practice learnig

Cons

Workload, too structured way of doing sales, very complex sales

    High quality, high visibility work directly with C-suite corporate clients
    Intellectually rigorous and challenging work environment
    Extremely intelligent and stimulating colleagues

    Cons

    Pay is on the low end of competitive, and hard to improve
    Little visibility into promotion opportunities, especially at senior levels

    I have been working at CEB full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    A good training ground for watching how to have a 60 % annual turnover of sales staff.

    Cons

    Whatever advise or best practice CEB is providing to their clients and members they do the absolute opposite.Given the success of their recently published book 'the challenger sale' e.g, all of CEB's front line sales manager would miserably fail applying their Sales Leadership Diagnostics: Team building- not existent, everybody against everybody; listen and understand rep's point of view- manager knows it all!; designing and driving a sales culture - pre-programmed 'one fits all' top down sales model, no exception permitted

    Leaders who refuse to grow themselves cannot lead growing organizations. Empathy, humanity and kindness are leadership strengths and not weaknesses.
