My experience art Capital One.

IT Project Manager (Former Employee)
Plano, TX (US)

I worked at Capital One as a contractor for more than a year

ProsBest company I have worked for since 1984. They care about their employees.

ConsAllways changing the project management process without consulting the project managers. Many best practices are now optional.

Advice to Senior ManagementProject Management is not a continious project, but a continious review. Don't change it for sake of change, Don't change it when if their are no complaints from users (PM).

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Pros: job security, benefits, friendly atmosphere, Cons: no work/life balance, not enough recognition for hard work, too… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

teller

Teller (Former Employee)
New York, NY (US)

I worked at Capital One part-time for less than a year

Pros: - I met some great co workers as my fellow tellers - When the crisis of Hurricane Sandy came to New York,… Cons: - Some managers didn't know how to be managers, very immature.. took management to a whole arrogant level - I felt like i was in high… Advice to Senior Management: Managers need to learn how to show a better example for their employees. They also need to understand not to take things personal and act… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
