I have been working at CareFusion full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Great co-workers and true team work and feel. Local teams have great team skills. Customer base is great and loyal for now.

Cons

They are moving away from local install bases and more towards install teams that travel in and out leaving the customer with only Call Center for support.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember your roots, your most important asset, your local field teams. Your customer depend on them more then you know.

    Pros

    Large company with adequate benefits. NIce facility and location. Innovative products.

    Cons

    No forward motion, change is as slow as the government, heavy upper management. Many employees have been here for over 10 years and are resistent to process improvement to improve quality and or productivity. People are burnt out from working so hard on the same broken thing that never gets fixed. Technology is behine other companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Changes are good and necessary. Merge departments and become more efficient. Embrace new technology. Work from home can be the one benefit that motivates people to work harder. Do it!

    Our products help save people's lives

    Cons

    No work life balance, culture of miserable people, no help for career growth, incompetent mid-level management since SAP switch

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Show that you care about your employees. Since I've started, CareFusion has cut benefits and employee morale has gone completely downhill. At the last town hall meeting, our CEO more or less said , "We will not help you in your career in any way. You have to do everything yourself." There is no sense of community at the company. It is not an enjoyable place to work.
