Current Employee - District Sales Manager in New York, NY (US)

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Great Brand Name, Good 401k

Cons

DSM Salary is too low, compeition pays their DSM's at least 10-15k more and they aren't as micromanaged. CCNA is trying to drop CCR like a hot potato as they have been showcasing the company on trade visits to investors from the Middle East & China. Bad when an American company like CCR is trying to sell their company internationally where they could possibly clean house. Bad enough that rumors are that everyone in management will have to reapply for their jobs next year and if your'e lucky to keep your job they will move you to a different department or sales center. Even though CCE had its faults, This company was run better and focused more on customer value when it was CCE.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop Micromanaging!!!!!! Raise pay for management positions..... DSM's shouldnt make less than their subordinates.......

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

This is a UNION driven warehouse so the hourly people are taken care of.The benefits were okay.

    Cons

The DO NOT Care if you work 70 80 even 100 hours in a week just make sure the product is loaded
the lie to what to expect for the job hours and there is no training if you want to learn teach yourself by making mistakes and get yeld at.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start with honesty on companies part in interviews. Do not just throw new employees into job and run from them. And manager should get paid more then the employees they are managing.

    Pros

very nice coworkers in every level of this company, easy to talk to management, good salary

    Cons

very high stress environment, because it's such a large company changes are rarely made, computer systems out of date and inefficient, no on the job training

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please have on the job training for your new hires and spend more time with your sales reps in the field so they can more quickly learn how to sell
