Do not lie about work-life balance to new staff and provide them with unrealistic expectations of hours

    Pros

    You will get to things to learn but major focus would be on sales and sales only

    Cons

    No work/life balance,
    Compensation is not upto the mark
    Poor management practices

    Good for a start, abysimal support for further development.

    I worked at EY full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - a wide range of fully paid trainings
    - great teams
    - intresting clients
    - great opportunities for networking within and outside the company

    Cons

    - no flexible career paths
    - poorly paid, badly managed mandatory pension plan
    - excessive hours
    - often the tasks to be performed are either boring or very complex, while the top-down support is generaly inexistent.
    - the trainings are solely focues on getting the swiss CPA.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take care about your employees and don't take them for granted.
