Current Employee - Manager in Honolulu, HI (US)

I have been working at EY full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Working at EY definitely has its challenges. Benefits are better than the normal (25 paid days off once manager, 18 paid days off as a 1st year).

    Cons

Expectation is for employees to put in 45+ (up to 60) hours a week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

EY commits to their employees that if they put in the time/effort they will be promoted based on merit and not openings.

Current Employee - Network Engineer in Secaucus, NJ (US)

I have been working at EY full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Excellent benefits and work environment.
Interesting projects and lots of neat technology in the pipeline.
Lots of good people that care about what they do and want everyone to succeed.

    Cons

Too many projects with priorities shifting on an almost daily basis without enough staff.
Management has no idea what is happening on the front lines.
People still looking over their shoulder even several years after the IT Services transition, waiting to get laid off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend some time listening to your employees instead of preaching at them. Follow up and through with the focus groups.
