Pros

good environment, staffs are friendly and helpful

Cons

very good company but might be long hours

    I have been working at EY full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good flexible working policies, interesting opportunities, good career management and development opportunities, collegiate working environment.

    Cons

    Unclear reward and recognition, huge salary ranges with no clarity around differentiators. Inconsistent levels of senior managers and directors, from inspiring role models to 'how on earth are they still here?' people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Some clarity around salary bands. The same rigour applied to senior level promotions and performance management as junior staff.

    Pros

    plenty of opportunities, great co -workers, some really brilliant people

    Cons

    fair share of dumb and incompetent people; people who are getting promoted even though they barely understand how to manage a project , let alone manage teaming etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    do not encourage a promotion system where people are promoted because of no. of years at the firm, but rather, should be on skills.
