I worked at Ernst & Young full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Work environment was good and pretty laid back, there are a lot of very good people working at EY, its great for a first job and is looked upon highly by future employers, looks good on the resume
Cons – Work just for the sake of working and billing hours, "busy season", unpredictable schedule and travel, some employees form cliques like in high school and gang up on others, reviews can be biased, they'll work you to death and then cut you if the economy goes in the tanks
Advice to Senior Management – Treat others as you would want to be treated; If you preach flexibility, don't just extend it to people with extraordinary situations--everyone can use some flexibility
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
