Ernst & Young is a great place to work.

Secaucus, NJ (US)

Former Employee – worked at Ernst & Young full-time for more than 10 years

ProsThe people and the opportunities are great.

ConsThe transformation and outsourcing strategies is hurting this profession.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet back to people first. Outsourcing may seem the best way to save money but in the long run it'll cost you more. There is a completely different culture abroad and an enormous amount of turnover. To sustain growth and market share, you need to invest at home. This generation is loosing its ability to work their way up. All the entry level jobs have been outsourced. How can we build the leaders of tomorrow if we don't give them the opportunity to get their foot in the door and grow? I hope and pray for the best.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
