I worked at Fiberlink full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Good out of college job.
Fun and social coworkers.
Small and nimble.
Solid customer list.
Positioned well for mid-market growth.
Employees well equipped with gadgets.

Cons

Terrible 401k match
Skeleton crew in operations although experts. Need to invest there.
Play games with bonus money during lean times and mediocre raises - get you money up front.
High turnover except for a core group that keeps the machine rolling.
If you have gray hair need not apply.
Some delusions of grandeur among senior management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Org is too flat. Give high performers something to strive for. Expand operations so you can scale.

    Pros

Good tech people, good vision, nice canteen!

    Cons

Bad - so bad at trying to be a global company. Anything outside the US HQ may as well not exist.
