    Pros

    -Great software engineering internship program.
-Nice company with very engaged employees.
    -Lots of interesting projects.

    Cons

    -Employee retention seems low.
-Company culture in remote offices seems less important.
-As an embedded systems provider, the technologies used can be quite ancient.

    Advice to Management

Make the workplace more fun at remote locations, and try to use newer technologies in development.

    Pros

If you like being micro-managed by big brother in Olathe, KS, then this is a great place to work. Don't show too much initiative or creative thinking, as this is clearly seen as rebellious.

With a UK HR department that cares more about keeping you at your workstation during working hours than developing associates, morale is excellent.

    Cons

Draconian HR approach to employees: a group of labourers to be controlled rather than inspired.
Poor leadership: UK leaders generally do what USA tells them due to lack of any other ideas.
High performers receive little reward other than a photo in the canteen when they have done well enough to be named 'associate of the quarter'.

    Advice to Management

US Management: you need to let other countries in your organisation have some freedom and creativity. Otherwise you will simply generate a lot of administrators trudging through the daily grind of carrying out your orders. Inspired individuals work harder, happier and more productively than tied-down, restricted slaves.

EMEA Management: You need to realise that each country is individual, each culture is different. Show some strength of character rather than acting as yes-men to the overbearing, ultra-conservative US leadership.
