I have been working at Halliburton full-time for more than a year

Pros

I enjoyed working with Halliburton, I had great team mate and managers. They get up to speed by going to well sites as a second hand at first, then you are by your own.

Cons

They can do better in training part. You have to ask for it many times. They will not come to you and tell you go to take a course.

I worked at Halliburton full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Global Opportunities; On site child care and fitness center.

    Cons

My manager was equivalent to the boss in "The Devil Wears Prada." I was bullied, talked about and was forced to drive to their house at 10pm to pick up supplies. On at least 2 occasions, I was forced to work from that person's house with another coworker. Terrible micro management.

I worked at Halliburton full-time for more than a year

    Pros

they take care of you. give you a company car, pay for your gas, meals (while you're on the job), put you in a hotel if you need to be in one. The money is ok.you get a base salary of about 57,000 and then after 8 or so months you start making bonuses. So basically after your first year you start making significantly more than the base

    Cons

Very very very long hours. I stayed on field for 37 hours straight. Very high pressure job. Very boring. Very lonely job. Very unpleasant work environments. Your life becomes about work so you have to be realy really interested in the upstream industry.
