People and work ethic of the Enterpise Service Division. Flexible Work from Home arrangement. Dynamic work environment. Global based company. Opportunities to service many interesting industries.

Cons

Tools and Process not effective. Lack of career advancement opportunities. Recognition and rewards to employees. Lack of decision and execution of a plan that would address key issues like improvement of Tools and Process.

Decide on best practices regarding common tools and processes and provide career advancement opportunities to employees.

    Pros

    A large organization with many resources, functions, events, if you can find the right contact. Been part of a group working on a cool technology that kept interest going.

    Cons

    A large organization with a good layer of bureaucracy, unhealthy doze of politics at top level. In and out of hiring freezes took a great hit on team and morale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop doing erratic decisions, and smooth out your hiring / layoff cycles. Too many layers of management. Better segment your business as there are many unrelated parts that share infrastructure that is designed only for the fattest cow. Need to become much more nimble.
