Pros

flexible hours, office locations, employee discounts, ability to transfer between divisions, sites and maintain service years, great benefits, good salary, travel opportunities, stock options and stock plan.

Cons

lack of salary increases; downsizing risks, rated against other employees, lack of profit sharing, bonus structure only rewards highest performers, too much travel and many long hours

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of rating system and rank employees against their goals and objectives; implement profit sharing for all employees; provide salary increases to match cost of living increases

    Pros

    If you survive this, you'll thrive anywhere else.

    Cons

    Work-life balance is something that happens to other companies.
    Don't expect to work less than 1.5x more than you're actually paid for.
    Compensation is pitiful with almost no chance of increases.
    Politics is the be-all and end-all.
    Most senior management believe being louder = being more effective.
    Expect to be sworn at.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You can't shrink and cut your way to success - doing more with less is not a bottomless pit of cost savings.
    Show respect to your employees.
