Huawei Technologies Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Huawei Technologies full-time for more than a year

Pros – 1. Smaller teams, easy recognition.
2. Even freshers get ownership of code/module easily.
3. Good review culture.

Cons – 1. No work-life balance - 9 hours of work is considered too early to leave the office.
2. Manager will never approve leaves happily.
3. People knowing system architecture are very few. You frequently get into situations where you can get no one to consult for a solution to an issue.

Advice to Senior Management – Please retain employees. It is hell for the people left behind to handle everything.
Please have some backup for employees.
