I have been working at Ingersoll-Rand full-time for less than a year

Pros

Hands down, them most AMAZING place I have ever worked. The company, for as large as they are, really care about their employees. Their screening process is very in depth, so we only hire the BEST available.

Cons

None that come to mind.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Choose your words carefully. A lot of people take EXACT words to heart. They they sit there and fear for their jobs, which I would think HAS to effect production. THINK and SAY positive even if it won't be pleasant.

I have been working at Ingersoll-Rand full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Ingersoll Rand offers Job security and is a stable company. There are opportunities to move up within the company or transfer to other cities.

    Cons

The culture in the office is overwhelmingly corporate. Individual contributions are rarely recognized. The pay scale is below market so it’s hard to keep good employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management and the corporate office needs to get a better understanding of the local culture.
