Pros

Fantastic work environment, lots of benefits and activities provided. Allows room to learn and grow within organization. The people there are the best thing about the company.

Lack of advancement opportunities within reasonable time for those with entrepreneurial mentalities. Takes too long to advance into senior management positions.

In general a well oiled machine with honed processes for everything from HR to operations
Review process is generally very fair
Lots of communication expectations and teamwork

    Cons

Anything not related to microprocessors is a second class citizen
Work-life balance not really a consideration
    Lots of meetings

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The stock has been stagnat for 7+ years because of 1st con above (IMHO)

I have been working at Intel Corporation

    Pros

The benefits are good and the pay is good. I like how there is a lot of opportunity to grow and move around.

    Cons

The bottom ten percent of the employees at Intel get put on a corrective action program. This could happen even if all members of a team are top performers. This is done in an attempt to use fear to motivate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the mandatory CAP for the bottom ten percent and replace it with even more incentive programs. The research shows that inspiration gets more productivity than fear.
