ProsLots of pride in working for a great institution. Benefits have remained solid even through tough economic/budgetary times.

ConsCareer development and advancement opportunities for staff members are lacking.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe university is too polite in the way it positions itself. It's probably just the Midwestern humility but we need to assert ourselves more in the marketplace. We're better than what we let on.

Pros: regular environment, nothing much to say here. Just do your research, publish papers… Cons: not Top university, cold winters, lots of snow. heat in the office… Advice to Senior Management: postdocs are treated like students (or may be worse), and this is after getting a PhD. No real… More
