I worked at J.P. Morgan as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Teamwork, everyone is there to help you.
I came from a liberal arts school background and still learned a ton.
We intern again

Cons

Of course the hours were long but it's that way everywhere.
Sometimes the work got a bit redundant as well.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you have a high drive to work, you will move up quickly, and if you network effectively, you can easily become one of the more well known employees in the site

    Cons

Sometimes it seems as though management practice extreme favoritism. Lots of work goes without recognition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to employees doing work in roles temporarily, and imagine how they feel when they end up training someone to replace them when they have to go back to their original (lower) role
